2022 year-end message from our President/CEO Michael Lussier

Updated October 12, 2023  |   Published February 9, 2023

I hope that you and your families enjoyed a happy holiday season. As we begin a new year at Webster First, we look back at what we’ve accomplished with a 2022 year-end recap. The challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and 2021 were put behind us as we faced a new challenge of record inflation in the US. Despite these difficulties, we still saw impressive growth as we gained new members, lent to local businesses, and were named the Telegram & Gazette’s Best Credit Union of Central Mass for the fourth year in a row thanks to votes from loyal members like you.

In August, I celebrated my 35th year of service to the credit union. I am happy to say that through the many economic ups and downs we’ve endured over those years, we still remain financially strong and prepared for whatever new challenges may come about in 2023. Thanks to the dedication and great service from our teams in our branches and the operations center, members can rest assured that their money is in good hands at Webster First Federal Credit Union. On behalf of the entire team, we thank you for trusting us.

Happy New Year!

Sincerely,

Michael Lussier
President/CEO
