Announcing our 2019 scholarship winners!

 

We are very excited to announce the following ten students as our 2019 scholarship winners. We wish each student the best of luck in their academic endeavors.

 

 

 

David Brown

David Brown

David is currently a student at Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School, where he holds a GPA of 3.9. He's part of the National Honor Society, SkillsUSA, the senior council and student government, and is employed through the CO-OP Program at CTS Corporation in Hopkinton. In the fall, David will be a student at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona, Florida, where he’ll study electrical engineering.

 

 

 

Eric Kalton

Eric Kalton

Eric holds a GPA of 3.7 at the University of New Hampshire, where he majors in information systems, business analytics, and finance. He's the Business Manager for the Student Committee on Popular Entertainment, which hosts two concerts per year at UNH.

 

 

 

 

Cole Lombardi

Cole Lombardi

Cole currently attends Tufts University, where he majors in geological sciences and music. He's a board member of Tufts Television and Media Club, a member of the Tufts Kiniwe (Ghanaian music and dance) Ensemble, and the Tufts Javanese Gamelen Ensemble. Cole is also a member of the Tufts club basketball team and works in the Tufts Music Department office. This summer, he'll be interning with the Museum of Comparative Zoology at Harvard University.

 

 

 

Jonah Messier

Jonah Messier

Jonah currently attends Shepherd Hill Regional High School in Dudley, where he holds a GPA of 3.78. In the fall, Jonah will begin his first year at Worcester State University, where he’ll major in business administration.

Travis Morcaldi

Travis currently attends Fitchburg State University, where he holds a GPA of 3.44 and majors in criminal justice. Outside of school, he works as an Assistant Manager at Market Basket, where he’s been employed for four years.

 

 

 

Ashley Mukasa

Ashley Mukasa

Ashley currently attends Babson College, where she majors in business administration and holds a GPA of 3.44. She is the President of the Babson Dance Ensemble Origins of Necessary Equality, a member of the Babson College Residence Education Team, is a Babson College Honors Scholar, and a Babson College Writing Center Consultant. Ashley is an incoming Bloomingdale’s Store Management Intern.

Sofia will soon be a clinical social work major at the Boston College School of Social Work.

 

 

 

Rochelle Rivera

Rochelle Rivera

Rochelle is a student of the Practical Nursing program at Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School. She holds a GPA of 3.47, and is the Lead Medical Assistant/Clinical Office Coordinator for a five-provider urology practice.

Rebecca Towersey

Rebecca is a nursing major at Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester. Her ultimate goal is to learn everything there is to know about the nursing world and potentially save a life one day.

 

 

 

Daniella Zanelli

Daniella Zanelli

Daniella is currently a student at Winthrop High School, but will soon be attending the University of Rhode Island, where she will major in nursing. Her extracurricular activities include cheerleading, indoor track, lacrosse, powderpuff, math club, and dance. Daniella has also worked at the Winthrop Marketplace and the Border Cafe.
