Louise Mills Federal Credit Union Has Merged with Webster First Federal Credit Union

 

As of March 1, 2018, Louise Mills Federal Credit Union has merged with Webster First Federal Credit Union, and has become Louise Mills, a division of Webster First Federal Credit Union. The Louise Mills branch, located in Merrimac, will serve as our newest branch, open to our members and those who are eligible for membership.

Membership is open to anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school in Essex, Middlesex, Suffolk, or Worcester County of Massachusetts.

 

 

Account Access for Louise Mills Members

 

As of May 1, your online account access has moved to Webster First. To enroll for online access with Webster First, please click the button below. As a reminder, please remember to add "82" to the beginning of your existing Louise Mills member/account number in order to re-enroll successfully, as that will be your new Webster First member/account number as detailed in the Conversion Guide.

Conversion Details

 

Louise Mills systems, and your accounts, will be converted to Webster First Federal Credit Union on May 1, 2018.

On the surface, you probably won’t notice a big difference. You’ll still have access to the same Louise Mills office and services, as well as the same staff that have been serving you for many years. Webster First’s routing number is 211386597. If you currently have payroll direct deposit, federal recurring payments such as Social Security, or any other electronic payments going into or coming out of your account at Louise Mills Federal Credit Union, you must inform your deposit provider of your new routing number for your checking or savings account, as well as your new checking or savings account number.
 
 
Account numbers have conflicting issues and will need to be altered to accommodate the conversion. While the base number has remained the same, we have added “82” to the beginning of your member number. For example, if your member number was 12345 - it would now become 8212345. This change will be effective as of Tuesday, May 1, 2018.
 
 
New checks are being provided to you at no charge. You will receive these checks because the bank routing number printed at the bottom of your check that identifies your financial institution has changed as a result of a check processing change.
 
The routing number (211386597) is located at the bottom of your check to the left of your account number. Please note that you will need to destroy your current supply of Louise Mills Federal Credit Union checks by 4:30pm on April 30, 2018 and begin using new Webster First checks as of 9:00am on May 1, 2018.
 
 
If you have savings accounts, certificates, IRAs, or Money Market accounts, you will receive a quarterly statement unless you perform a transaction (via branch, ATM, audio response, or ACH transfer), in which case you will receive a statement for that month.
 
If you have checking accounts or loans, you will receive regular monthly statements, which will also include your savings account activity.
 
Your final statement from Louise Mills Federal Credit Union will be sent out on April 30, 2018. For statement history prior to April 30, 2018, please contact our Member Service Center at (800) 962-4452 to request Louise Mills Federal Credit Union statement copies.
 
If you currently receive electronic statements from Louise Mills Federal Credit Union, you will need to sign up again. Your previous statements will not be saved. Since prior statements will no longer be available for viewing online, you may wish to download or print them for reference.
 
All Webster First statements are mailed out on the first of the month and will include the statement activity from the month prior.

Debit card holders will receive new cards prior to the conversion date at no additional cost. You will receive a new PIN number in the mail as well. New Webster First debit cards will be issued and mailed on April 20, 2018. The PIN will be mailed a few days prior. If you do not receive a PIN or debit card, please contact our Member Service Center at (800) 962-4452.
 
At 4:30pm on April 30, 2018 all existing Louise Mills Federal Credit Union debit cards will become inactive. Your new Webster First debit card will be ready for use at 9:00am on May 1, 2018.
 
 
Current online banking users will need to re-register for online banking at websterfirst.com. Online banking will not be available after 4:30pm on April 30, 2018. You can use online banking again beginning on May 1, 2018. Transaction history will not carry over.
 
Bill Pay information will not be saved and carried over at conversion. It will be necessary to sign up again and re-enter all of the bills that you are presently using this service for. Transaction history will not carry over. Bill Pay will be temporarily unavailable after 4:30pm on April 30, 2018. You can use Bill Pay again beginning on May 1, 2018.
 
As an Online Banking user, you will have free access to Webster First Funds Transfer, Remote Deposit, Mobile Banking*, Text Message Banking*, Money Management, eStatements, and Bill Pay.
