Meet our new Winthrop Branch Manager Lawrence Bailey

We’re pleased to celebrate our new Winthrop Branch Manager, Lawrence Bailey. Lawrence brings over ten years of banking experience to the Webster First team, and while he has been living in East Boston for the past twenty years, Lawrence recently purchased a home in Winthrop with his family, making him a local community member. Speaking about Winthrop, Lawrence said ,“I love how peaceful it is here in Winthrop, we can now sit outside and actually hear the waves hit the beach. Our neighbors have all been so friendly and welcoming too.”
Lawrence has a long history of being involved in his local communities, serving on non-profit boards, helping schools teach children basic banking skills, and contributing to various local fundraising events. He is currently a member of the Belle Isle Rotary Club, which serves Winthrop, East Boston, and Revere.
On a personal note, since moving to Winthrop Lawrence has enjoyed evening cruises on the Winthrop Ferry, shopping in Winthrop center, and walking around Deer Island. He also loves to BBQ and has been going to Blackstrap since before they first expanded.
