Introducing Quick Balance

In a hurry? When you turn on Quick Balance, you can view your account balances and five most recent transactions per account by simply swiping down on the app's login screen without entering your login information. How easy is that?

To enable Quick Balance, login to the app and click on "Settings." Please note that when enabled, Quick Balance will allow any user of your device to use this feature.

Transfer Funds and Pay Bills


Moving money is easy with the Webster First App. To transfer funds, tap the "Transfer Money" option and select the account you'd like to transfer money from, the account you'd like to transfer money to, and the amount. It's that easy.

Paying a bill with our app only takes a moment: tap the "Pay Bills" option, then choose the payee, select the account you want the funds pulled from, enter an amount, and choose a date. 

In order to use the Pay Bills feature, you'll need to be enrolled in Bill Pay. Payees must be setup in Bill Pay before they are available to use with the Pay Bills feature of the app. You can enroll in Bill Pay by clicking on the "Bill Pay" link in Online Banking.




Webster First Mobile Banking App - Deposit Checks


Deposit Checks


Skip a trip to the branch and deposit checks with the click of your phone's camera and our Remote Deposit service. You'll receive a same business day credit to your checking account (subject to a daily cut-off time) and funds will be deposited pursuant to our Funds Availability Policy.

To get started using Remote Deposit, login to Online Banking and click on the "Remote Deposit" link. We'll review your request, and upon approval, you can start using the service immediately.

Webster First Mobile Banking App - Debit Rewards



Earn Cash Back with Debit Rewards


If you're taking advantage of our free Debit Rewards program, you can now view and activate offers on the go! Tap the "Earn Cash Back" option to view eligible rewards and offer details. You can activate any rewards that interest you right from the app, and you'll be able to view how much cash back you've earned over the past three months.

To take advantage of Debit Rewards, you'll need an eligible Webster First checking account, debit card, and be an active Online Banking user. For more information about Debit Rewards, click here.




Mobile Web Banking


If you're using a device that doesn't support our app, we've got you covered. Mobile Banking allows you to access your Webster First accounts with your device's web browser and enables you to view account balances and transaction history, transfer funds between your Webster First accounts, and make bill payments.

To use Mobile Banking, follow the steps below:

  • You must have a mobile device enabled with web browsing and be able to access the Internet.
  • You must be signed up for Online Banking before using Mobile Banking. To sign up for Online Banking, visit a branch or click here.
  • Using your mobile device's web browser, visit You will be prompted to log in using your Online Banking username and password. After logging in, you will be able to use Mobile Banking.



Text Message Banking


No smartphone? No problem. Text Message Banking allows you to check the latest account balances or recent transactions for your Webster First accounts from any cell phone enabled with text messaging. Webster First offers Text Message Banking for free to all Online Banking members. To get started with Text Message Banking, follow the steps below:

  • You must have text messaging enabled on your phone and you must be signed up for Online Banking. To sign up for Online Banking, visit a branch or click here.
  • Within your Online Banking home screen, click on the "Mobile Banking & Alerts" tab at the top navigation bar.
  • Click the "Activate" button and enter your cell phone number in the available area.
  • We will text you an access code to verify your number. Once you receive the code, enter it and choose a primary account.

BAL - View primary account balance
BAL ALL - View all account balance(s)
BAL CHK - View checking account balance(s)
BAL SAV - View saving account balance(s)
LAST - View last five transactions
